Detailed Description
This piezoelectric precipitation sensor consists of a steel cover with a piezoelectric sensor mounted on its underside. The sensor detects individual raindrop impacts, generating signals proportional to drop volume. This design, featuring no moving parts, resists contamination and corrosion, ensuring reliable and precise measurements across the entire operating range without requiring calibration. The sensor outputs rainfall data in minute, hourly, 24-hour, and cumulative totals.
